I wrote this last week to my children. For song club we received the prompt “Purgatory Road”. As I thought about the prompt I reflected on my life and the missteps. And what, as their dad, I pass down to them and teach them.

Cool things happening. I’ve been talking about an EP that has been in production. Well, that is being scrapped. I write a lot, at least a song a week. So after some thought and conversation with my best friend and long time collaborator Ryan, the EP is becoming a full length album. I’m also thrilled to say that a band is coming together for this project and hopefully beyond. I still plan on doing solo shows, but these songs have been built out beyond a voice and guitar and well deserve to have that in live settings. Ryan as well as our dear Friend Brian will be a part of it. During this process a search for a drummer and other musicians will be happening at the same time. Really very excited for what’s coming.
