🚨 PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUEST SUBMITTED – BRAZORIA COUNTY JAIL 🚨

Over the last hours, Corruption Watch Texas has received multiple citizen reports and tips alleging that a serious incident may have occurred at the Brazoria County Detention Center.

At this time, we do not know whether the information is accurate. We do not know who may be involved, what happened, or whether any reported incident actually occurred.

Because of those tips, we have submitted a Texas Public Information Act request seeking records related to any reported inmate su***de attempt, hanging, medical emergency, or death at the jail on June 21–22, 2026.

📄 Important: This request is not evidence that an incident occurred.
📄 We are not alleging wrongdoing by anyone.
📄 We are not reporting that a death has occurred.
📄 We are simply attempting to determine whether there is any factual basis for the information being provided to us.

As always, our approach is simple:

✅ Receive tips
✅ Verify facts
✅ Request records
✅ Follow the evidence wherever it leads

If records are produced, we will review them and report what we find. If the information turns out to be inaccurate, we’ll report that too.

Transparency starts with asking questions. 🔎

🚨 YOAKUM ISD - PHOTOS ATTACHED 🚨
📄 PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST SUBMITTED

Corruption Watch Texas has submitted a Texas Public Information Act request to Yoakum ISD seeking records related to HVAC issues, mold assessments, moisture intrusion, environmental testing, remediation efforts, and related communications.

📸 The request was prompted by photographs that were anonymously provided to us depicting what appears to be visible contamination and/or moisture-related issues inside a school facility.

At this time, we are not making any conclusions regarding the substance shown in the photographs, the condition of the facility, or whether any health or safety hazards exist. Those determinations require professional assessment and documentation.

🔎 The purpose of the request is to obtain records that may help establish:

• The nature and extent of any reported environmental issues
• Whether assessments or testing were conducted
• What remediation efforts, if any, were undertaken
• The timeline of any HVAC or moisture-related problems
• Whether the district received recommendations from consultants or contractors

📚 As always, we will review any responsive records and report the findings accurately, fairly, and in context.

If Yoakum ISD provides responsive records, we will share what we learn.

‼️Here’s the original reporting on Lavaca County James Reeves’ screwing the pooch in San Patricio County - complete with court docs.

Fortunately, it was only tax dollars wasted.

I can’t imagine why Mr Reeves didn’t post this…

Are you being informed or influenced?

Judge dismisses barratry cases against San Patricio attorney, citing lack of lawful prosecutorial authority 06/22/2026

‼️The MSM is catching up to Corruption Watch - Texas’ reporting.‼️

Lavaca County James Reeves takes his circus in the road and screws the pooch in San Pat.

💰 Tax dollars wasted!
😡 Public trust eroded!
🤷Just another day at the office!

Is it any wonder he’s disabled comments on the Lavaca County Attorney’s Office page.

(Bears noting- I cannot tag that page. There is another LCAO page with 962 followers that is still active.)

Judge dismisses barratry cases against San Patricio attorney, citing lack of lawful prosecutorial authority A judge granted defense motions and dismissed felony barratry charges against two attorneys who argued the prosecution never had legal authority to bring the case.

🚨NOT JUST LICENSE PLATES ANYMORE?🚨

⁉️Your thoughts?⁉️

Many people have heard of Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs). But a technology called SignalTrace™, developed by Leonardo’s ELSAG division, is designed to go much further.

According to the company, SignalTrace can collect and correlate signals emitted by nearby electronic devices, including Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi sources, RFID tags, smartwatches, fitness trackers, and other electronics.

The company says it does not collect the contents of communications or decrypt data. Instead, it analyzes the electronic signatures of devices that repeatedly travel together, creating what it describes as an “electronic fingerprint.”

That means investigators may be able to identify or follow a vehicle or person even when a license plate is unknown or unreadable, by looking at the collection of electronic devices traveling together.

This raises important questions:

❓ Which Texas agencies have purchased or tested this technology?
❓ What policies govern its use?
❓ How long is the data retained?
❓ Can it be shared with other agencies?
❓ What oversight exists to protect privacy?

These are policy questions worth asking regardless of where you stand on law enforcement technology.

As always, Corruption Watch Texas believes transparency is essential whenever government agencies deploy powerful surveillance tools.

🏫 Weimar ISD PIR - Inspection

🚨 Based on recent photos we’ve received from anonymous sources, we’ve submitted a request for inspection and remediation timeline (if remediation is required).

⁉️The main questions are:

Will remediation be needed?
&
If so, can it be performed in time to make sure teachers and students are safe to return to school?

Please note: autocorrect changed Mr Seelke’s name on the email and I didn’t catch it.

I apologized to Mr Seelke for that.

😳“Don’t poke the bear”

I’ve heard that a dozen times over the years.

☺️Here’s the part that AMAZES me.

Many people seem to think the Government is the “bear”

WE ARE THE BEAR!
The sooner we collectively remember that, the sooner a BUNCH of things will cease.

Think about it.

Happy Father’s Day!
