Four DGX Sparks hiding in one workstation tower at the MSI booth. Each EdgeXpert node packs 128GB of unified memory, so this cluster pools 512GB for larger models. An NVIDIA switch sits below the cabinet, but any 200GbE connectivity works. A separate demo nearby meshed three Sparks back to back with no switch at all. Computex 2026 keeps delivering. MSI NVIDIA

Intel's 18A era starts in the data center. Xeon 6+ packs up to 288 E-cores per socket, 12-channel DDR5, and 96 lanes of PCIe Gen5, with Intel claiming 2.5x prior-gen performance. Alongside it: E835 Ethernet up to 200GbE and Crescent Island, a 480GB LPDDR5X inference GPU in a 350W air-cooled card. Full breakdown on storagereview.com, link in bio.
Two ways to cool Rubin. ASUS showed its HGX Rubin NVL8 reference design at Computex in a fully liquid-cooled build (XA NR1I-E12LR) and a hybrid (XA NR1I-E12L) that runs DLC on the GPUs and air on the CPUs. For shops without facility water at all, the XA NB3I-E12 puts NVIDIA HGX B300 in a straight air-cooled chassis. ASUS
Synology's new flagship at Computex 2026. The PAS7700 packs dual active-active controllers and 48 U.3 NVMe bays into 4U, with file and block served over NVMe/TCP, Fibre Channel, and RoCE. Failover in about 5 seconds, up to 2M IOPS, and everything is modular: controllers, fans, redundant power supplies. Built for VDI, virtualization, and AI workloads. Synology
Two racks, two eras. MSI's Computex booth puts a traditional 19" air-cooled rack with 16 dual-node systems next to a 21" ORv3 liquid-cooled rack holding 28 dual-socket, dual-node servers, good for up to 100kW. Around back: 48V busbar power and direct liquid cooling on the ORv3 versus dual PDUs and power cabling on the 19". Each node packs memory cooling bars, CPU cold plates, and leak detection, all built for fully liquid-cooled deployments. MSI
Synology's Active Protect Manager 2.0 at Computex 2026. Native backup for Proxmox, Nutanix, ESXi, and Hyper-V with restore between any of them, plus Google Workspace support beyond Microsoft 365. AI anomaly detection during backup and malware scanning at restore, so ransomware cleanup doesn't end with re-injecting bad data. Two clicks to configure.

Inside MSI's XpertStation WS300 at Computex 2026. A fully liquid-cooled NVIDIA GB300 workstation: copper cold plates, internal pump, radiators on the side AND top. Plus slot-loading RTX Pro 6000s with quick-disconnects for power and liquid. GPU swaps without touching a hose.

We stopped by Seasonic at Computex 2026 for a look at the PRIME ENTERPRISE line, their flagship power platform for AI. The PX-3200 tops it at 3200W, the TX-1600 handles workstation duty and is being used in GB300 partner systems, and the whole line is built around EDPP for the idle-to-peak load swings of AI workloads. OptiGuard monitors current and temperature at every pin on the 12V-2x6 connector and shuts down before anything melts.

Review is live: the Micron 6600 ION 245TB, the highest-capacity SSD you can buy. PCIe Gen5 QLC on G9 NAND, up to 13.7 GB/s sequential read, and nearly 1.75M random read IOPS. A 720-bay rack reaches 176.9PB, and the efficiency story lands at 8.2 TB per watt versus about 4.4 for high-capacity HDDs. A capacity play first, read-centric by design. Link in bio.

JetCool brought its SmartPlate direct-to-chip liquid cooling to the Dell PowerEdge R770 and R7725. Fully sealed, server-integrated, and no facility water hookup required, so it drops into existing air-cooled data centers without re-plumbing the room. Average 13% IT power reduction. Available now.
