Get with the times, masking up with your gloves on is the way. A sweet leather chin strap is the best way to do it!

First strap of the new way I plan to do my straps moving forward. There are enough people out there who do their straps the the same way with one single piece. I want to do things differently to where you know a Gates leather strap when you see one. They will cost a lot more, but the quality is on a different level. I’m still learning how to carve stuff so I won’t be offering that just yet, if you’re looking for carved I can help you find the right person, thankfully one of the best in the business is also local to Cincinnati. It won’t let me do a video in the post so there will be one in the comments. Everything I do is completely by hand and made to last. Suspenders are still on hold until my arm is a little closer back to normal. With this new design and process, my lead time is a bit longer, so if you’re looking for something awesome, let me know!

From paper to complete! I had to set Caden up with a sweet number plate! He helped with the process and picked the colors.

If you don’t follow my personal page, I am dealing with an injury that’s preventing me from doing the heavy stuff with leather as well, so radio straps and suspenders are on a bit of a hold right now. In the mean time I will be putting together some chrome tan projects I have been wanting to do! Let me know if something catches your eye.
