I'm so excited about our National Poetry Month event at Urban Artifact on April 7th! We'll have readers from a roster of contributors to the TRIBUTARIA anthology (editors Sherry Cook Stanforth, Author, Richard Hague, & Thompson), including some visual art, and perhaps some songs from Tangled Roots. I attended my first board meeting and the Ohio Book Awards within days of each other, and at the Statehouse celebrated ‘s single-handed effort to bring to Ohio to put books on the hands of youngsters. I was fortunate to also be able to celebrate my good friend on her poetry book award!
