I'm so excited about our National Poetry Month event at Urban Artifact on April 7th! We'll have readers from a roster of contributors to the TRIBUTARIA anthology (editors Sherry Cook Stanforth, Author, Richard Hague, & Thompson), including some visual art, and perhaps some songs from Tangled Roots. (Dos Madres Press)

As always, we'll have an open mic. Come out!

Co-hosted by Radio Artifact.

I’ve recently joined the Ohioana Library Association Board of Trustees and am proud to support this remarkable organization that preserves the creative spirit and literary works of Ohioans.
If you don’t know about Ohioana, now’s your chance- as the organization nears a century of dedication to collecting our state’s written treasures. Thank you for nominating me, it’s my honor to be elected to this class and join such a fine group of people.
I attended my first board meeting and the Ohio Book Awards within days of each other, and at the Statehouse celebrated ‘s single-handed effort to bring to Ohio to put books on the hands of youngsters. I was fortunate to also be able to celebrate my good friend on her poetry book award!

Congratulations to all the 2025 Ohio Book Award winners, it was enlightening to hear about your works!
