I'm All Ears Rabbitry

I'm so over the moon right now!
I had 100% miss on my first breeding of the year. I used my new buck because I'd just sold his half brother, and lost my old herd buck about a month before. I was so nervous my Chin program was going to be totally shut down.
But they all took this round! Marmaduke is now a dad to 3 lovely sets of kits!
Get ready for l the cute baby bunny pics in the next few weeks.

Nest box snuggles are so freaking cute I just can't 🥰😍🥰😍🥰

I've got a 11 week old Rex doe Seal/Self Chin ready to go. She will be my last available rabbit till October. If you are interested let me know.
She will come tattooed and pedigree.

I'm so excited! With the help of 7th Heaven Rabbitry we put together my first meat breeding trio for a lady.
I feel like a real breeder now that my kits are making such great improvement from their parents. They are a huge improvement from my kits last year too! Yay new buck 🥰

I won't be selling chins this year more than likely as I'll be keeping any keepers to bring on next season and I've got 3 does (my best does) ageing out this winter more than likely.

So far I've got 3 out of the 5 chins (who are 9 weeks) that I'll be keeping my eyes on over the next few weeks/months. I won't lie having 6+ decent kits out of 16 is such a big improvement from last year, where I had 2 out of 16.

If you are hoping to get a rabbit or three from me this year hurry up and let me know, as I will only have a few available every month or so from here till October probably.

We have the first potiental chin litter on the ground!
Long Hair did amazing for a first time mom. I can't wait to see how these guys look once their fur comes in. She is my home grown kit from last year and her mom is one of my best.

Praying this girl gives me a 100% chin litter in 31 days 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Miss Mallow and Lurvey Boy got it on this afternoon.

For some reason all my older does are very patient and like to show him what to do 😆🫣

Lurvey boy got to go make babies with some Chin does this evening. Or should I say attempted to make babies with some ladies this evening.

We only got 1 fall off per doe, and we tried to get more but it just wasn't happening.

But here in about 30ish days we will hopefully be seeing some more Rex Chin rabbits running around. I'm so excited.

Thank you Morris and 7th Heaven Rabbitry for setting this up 🥰
