Today, I had the opportunity to attend New Board Member training. The whole day was informative and I took away several key concepts:
🌟The first being the importance and value of trust within the board and with our constituents.
🌟Secondly, there is no substitute for a collaborative relationship between the board and superintendent.
🌟Lastly, a clear and concise definition of the role of the board. I had a good idea of what the board does and doesn’t do, but found their slides to be simply stated.

Last night was a powerful reminder of how much this community cares about our schools and our kids. I am truly humbled by the strong support shown in this election and thankful for every conversation, every sign placed, and every vote cast.

I also want to sincerely thank my fellow candidates. Running for office takes courage, time, and a willingness to serve. Our community benefits when people step forward and care deeply about our schools.

Now the real work continues. My commitment remains the same: to serve all students, families, and staff with integrity, transparency, and a focus on what’s best for kids.

Please continue to stay engaged and connected with me here. I value your input, your questions, and your ideas. We are strongest when we work together for Chouteau-Mazie Schools.
