This week, AFSA Chapter 109 had the honor of giving back to the incredible members of our military community during our Community Appreciation Event.

We were proud to serve our Airmen and community members while recognizing outstanding contributions that make our mission stronger every day.

🏆 Congratulations to SSgt Waldbillig on receiving this year’s scholarship award!

🎖️ We also presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Commander of Post 266 for their continued support and partnership with our chapter.

📈 Thanks to the support and engagement from our community, we were excited to welcome 3 new AFSA members to Chapter 109!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, supporters, and attendees who helped make this event a success. Events like these remind us that we are stronger when we work together and support those who serve.

What an incredible day at the American Legion Post 266 in Granby, MA! Our donation‑only Burger Burn Fundraiser was a huge success — we served over 30 veterans and families, the weather held off, and we even fixed the main bar TV while flipping burgers!

The vibe was electric — great conversations, laughter, and heartfelt talks with local supporters about how AFSA advocates for our military community.

AFSA Chapter 109 is hosting a Burger Burn Fundraiser on Saturday, May 23 at American Legion Post 266 in Granby, MA from 1200–1600. Enjoy donation-based hamburgers and cheeseburgers with chips while helping support local military families from Westover ARB with WooSox tickets and memorable family experiences.
