The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Jie or Tuen Ng, is a prominent Chinese holiday celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, typically in May or June. With a history stretching back at least 1,500 years, it ranks among the three most important "festivals of the living," alongside the Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival.
