Happy New Year from Mucca Pazza!
We’ve reopened our vinyl storefront on in case your resolution is to support artists through physical merch. This marks the cyberspace debut of our GET PUMPED! vinyl. More shirt colorways and styles coming soon. Link in comments.
In 2025, we performed two acclaimed club shows in Chicago/Evanston, memorable private events (including in a cemetery), played at Navy Pier and on the Chicago River, and returned to Festival International in Lafayette, Louisiana. After a break to retool and refresh, we’ll be back at you with some show footage from November!

Our November show may be sold out, but the Logan Square Halloween Parade isn’t! We need to gather as neighbors now more than ever.

Mucca Pazza is so grateful for an artist sponsorship from Shure, who supported our performance/recording residency in November 2024. Throughout 2025, we dreamed big about how to use technology to support our connection to audiences through movement and musically sensitive performance. Shure’s wireless system allows us to do just that.
Mucca Pazza's trumpet and trombone sections had a blast using the system for the first time at our August 29, 2025 performance at Logan Square Auditorium.
Here’s a clip from one of our most popular unreleased tunes, “Bop ‘Til You Drop,” by John Carroll (one of several tunes premiered last November). We can’t wait to discover new sounds and shapes onstage in the coming year. Thanks, Shure!

As a 30-odd member ensemble drawing from many genres and practices of music and theater, Mucca Pazza could only have been born in Chicago, and we’re proud to celebrate our city’s creative arts.
