LAS VEGAS -- As part of Amazon’s pending bid to broadcast the in-season Emirates NBA Cup starting in the 2025-26 season, sources said the league will potentially move the five-week tournament from its usual mid-November/mid-December spot to an early December 2025/early January 2026 timetable so Prime Video can fully eventize the semifinal and title games following its seasonal NFL coverage.

One of the original premises of the In-Season Tournament was to drum up fan interest before Christmas, and, in 2023, the 20 teams monitored weekly by Nielsen saw their RSN viewership rise as high as 8% from the previous year’s November. The ensuing IST championship game in early December of 2023 between the Lakers and Pacers then drew 4.6 million viewers, the most watched non-Christmas Day in-season game on any network over the past five seasons.

Rodgers, who posted his highest completion percentage since 2014, connected with eight different receivers as the Steelers scored touchdowns on four consecutive drives for the first time since Week 2 of the 2018 season. He completed 23 of 27 passes (85.2%) for 224 yards.
