Our theatre is more than a stage—it is a source of pride, a gathering place, and a shared story that feels like home.

Bards with Blades ~ Poway Shakespeare opens this week! www.PowayShakes.org There’s nothing like Shakespeare under the stars. Bring a camp chair and a picnic basket

Shakespeare’s 462nd birthday was celebrated in style last night in Old Poway Park! The casts of Henry V, Taming of the Shrew and Romeo & Juliet opened up their rehearsals to the public as part of our mission at Poway Shakespeare is to keep the community involved.

Audience members were able to speak to the directors, watch the actors work complicated fight choreography, and best of all everyone got to chow down on some epic birthday cake! Pictured is our Community Engagement Director trying to pose confidently without dropping the cake.

If you missed our little Much Ado About Frosting ☺️, don’t despair. Bards with Blades is opening soon - with a free community performance on Wednesday May 13!
