The Gilbert Studio was honored to work with Robert “Robby” Langer on Saturday, August 24, 2024. His beautiful wife Jordan was a great help and acted as my temporary studio assistant. We had the best of the time, with Robby’s infectious personality and smile we all had a fun time. Another “watch out world moment”. These are just some of the great commercial model images. Fashion consultant and my friend, the fabulous and beautiful Trisea Bills is in da house. A watch out world moment is coming.

These panels are huge and hanging in the hallway of Hines.

One of my proudest moments working at the Edward Hines Jr., VA Hospital was to create these panels, along with my co-workers Helen Grigsby, John Escutia and Jaime Vega. The panels are on exhibit in near the “F” Lobby in building one of Hines. It was a major undertaking of researching the hundreds of photographs and documents, only made accessible because of the gathering of archived files by the volunteer work of Barb Hunt, former Supervisor of the Voluntary Services. I retired before the panels could be printed and hung but thanks to Helen Grigsby and Mary Tucker who is the Hines Interior Designer, made sure that the panels would be made. The panels passed through several eyes before being completed, I would like to think 50 years someone will say, “Who was this guy named Daniel DuVerney”. It was not just a job, but a lifestyle to serve our Veterans.
