Finished shopping 🛍 and now all I have to do is the Christmas card. This year it’s been hard to get into the Christmas spirit, but a nice steak dinner with this grinch cocktail at and a walk through the Forest of Lights helped me get excited for the holidays.

Hi there. Windy City Cosmo is about connections at it’s very core. Sometimes they are over cocktails. Sometimes they are over yoga and sometimes they are at protests. And those connections start with conversations and understanding others and standing by others and showing up for others. That is when true connections happen.

I have been reflecting and listening a lot this weekend. I put together a post of resources if you’d like to volunteer or donate or read and start these hard conversations. I don’t feel qualified. I don’t feel better. There are a lot of posts telling you how to act and how to feel. And I’m not here to tell you that.

Community needs love, care, and conversations. It also needs accountability.
