Slow Planes

Slow Planes is a platform for exploring compositional minimalism. Slow Planes create music focused on the ceremonial passing of time.

Harnessing color and texture through lo-fi microtonality the groups new densely patterned pieces invoke a science fiction painting reminiscent of early music plugged-in. Using traditional folk sounds they build patient, ritual rhythms out of guitar, banjo, brass, violin, drum, percussion, and voice.
