Humor for Hope
Humor for Hope uses the art of improvisational comedy as a form of therapy for populations suffering
Humor for Hope uses the art of improvisational comedy as a form of inpatient therapy. This healing art form not only targets children with acute, chronic, and terminal illnesses who are confined to isolation wards, but the families and caretakers of these children as well. The overarching goal of this program is to help restructure the identity that becomes the child following a diagnosis with laughter that we all associate with childhood.
