We’re hiring at Schoolhouse Kitchen + Studio - Oak Park and in the city of Chicago, too.

Our programming is growing to reach Northbrook, Elmhurst, LaGrange, Riverside and more schools in Chicago than ever before.
Our after school programming, Schoolhouse Mobile Kitchen, is hiring Lead Instructors who are available from about 2pm - 6pm each day. Classes are between 3pm-4:15pm and we schedule time for prep and clean-up. The pay is $100 for 1 hour class and we offer training and support. We do our best to match you with a school in your area.
The work is fun, meaningful and really heart warming. 🙂 It really is the highlight of my week. Kids are awesome. ❤

Festival del Niño is a beloved tradition at the National Museum of Mexican Art, inspired by Día del Niño, a celebration that recognizes the joy, value, and importance of children in our communities.

This free family-friendly festival is all about coming together to celebrate kids with games, activities, health services, and plenty of fun for everyone. It’s a day filled with culture, connection, and community spirit.
