It's that time! We'll be closed next Wednesday-Friday (open Tuesday), then wide open for SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY on Nov. 29!

Next month, we'll have shortened Christmas Eve hours, then close until January 2.

Belated but enormous thank yous to everyone who came out to the CRAWL launch on Thursday; to Riley Yaxley () for being a brilliant interlocutor; to for publishing Max's wonderfully funny-sad-smart story collection; and to himself for bringing this joyous event to our little store (and giving us a one-of-a-kind CRAWL souvenir). We still have signed copies of CRAWL, and you definitely want one!

Things to do this weekend:

1) Go see Mabel Kwan's new score for Maya Deren's Meshes of the Afternoon on Sunday night.
2) Come into the store and buy one of our Maya Deren books to learn more. (We also have Divine Horseman, her study of Haitian Vodou.)

We recommend completing these steps in reverse order, since we won't be open again until Tuesday after the show.
