What a ‘Wow’ space to complement our double addition & extensive remodel in Prospect Heights.

We’ve done a lot of design, drawing, & renderings, but this sign hasn’t been in the ground for a couple years.(thanks Covid!-) Demo of half the roof, lumber delivery, and framing is underway for a new addition, exterior, & remodel!.. In the end, the project will have a warm modern design featuring zinc panels and vertical slot windows!..

Check out our latest renderings for another new home commission from the ground up!.. The client has a nice lot for us to start from scratch:) The design incorporates zinc panels that waterfall from some roof planes, as wall coverings.

A night to remember!.. We were thrilled to win an Assoc. of Licensed Architects Design Award, 2021, for our 'New Tudor' project!!.. What an honor coming from the esteemed, international Jury! -A huge thanks to the DII team!!

We’re going into Design Development for our front & rear addition, and extensive remodel. Taking cues from the existing home, we’re evolving the gable rooflines with a contemporary, crisp aesthetic. This is going to be a special one!..

Work continues at our Zinc House in Riverwoods!.. Notice how the zinc wraps around from the walls to the roof like a protective skin. This is the backside & new, twice the size kitchen of our triple addition & extensive remodel!
