Now framed “The Lacemaker”

The Lacemaker is a painting by the Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer (1632–1675), completed around 1669–1670 and held in the Louvre, Paris. The work shows a young woman wearing a yellow bodice, holding up a pair of bobbins in her left hand as she carefully places a pin in the pillow on which she is making her bobbin lace.

Overall ,2024 was a great year for my art , with a successful solo exhibition “ Behind the Curtain’ in June , and with a few dog portraiture commissions on the side.
2025 is an exciting year, with my current project “The Art Detective” a series of 9 oil paintings will be displayed in a solo exhibition in Southport from late July to early August.
