A few moments from the 2026 National Powwow in Danville, Indiana.
I was there as both a writer and photographer, capturing images for an upcoming article. The craftsmanship of the regalia is remarkable, as is the individuality of each dancer. The colors, beadwork, feathers, ribbons, and other handmade elements combine to create a unique visual identity for every person who enters the arena of the intertribal powwow. My latest article has been published in the Spanish edition of Revista Traveling!
This time I wrote about the Flyway City exhibition at the Chicago Architecture Center and the work of architect Jeanne Gang, exploring how architecture can help create more bird-friendly cities.
If you're in Chicago before the exhibition closes, I highly recommend a visit.

Two years ago, I had the opportunity to work as the still photographer on The Concert, an intimate film by director Martin Hudson.
The project brought together family, music, memory, and a remarkable cast and crew.
