Okay, I served in the Navy (1990-93) and my parents freaked because I had enlisted only eight months before Desert Shield started. At least I served under a competent CnC (George H. W. Bush). He had a plan. The current "resident" at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue doesn't. And for all of those "Y'all Qaeda", what are the victory conditions for this little sandbox adventure? And don't tell me "it's when all the Iranians are dead" either. Genocide is totally unbecoming. What's Trump's exit stragedy? Ask him! Ask ANY of them!

Hi guys. It’s been a while since any of us has actually interacted with this page. And this morning while sitting out on the screened in porch that I sold my Corvette to build for my wife (still wondering what the hell I was thinking at the time) I got struck by a thought: There is so much s**t going on right now that could easily be resolved. S**t that we need not be arguing in circles over if we just came down to brass tacks and made some serious changes to the US Constitution. The Constitution was written 240 years ago, and was written to address issues of the day (way to go with the handling of slavery, still not a fan of that) but it does NOT handle this issues of the 21st Century that well at all (in my opinion). So, I’m asking y’all (that’s my Southerner coming out), since the Constitution is a living document, should it be amended to address the problems of the 21st century and continue to be amended every 100 years going forward?

It is a solemn and weighty responsibility and not lightly to be flung aside at the bullying of pulpit, press, government or politician. It doesn’t matter what the press says. It doesn’t matter what the politicians or the mobs say. It doesnn’t matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. Republics are founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe in. no matter the odds or consequences.
When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move. Your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth and tell the whole world:
