It's been a crazy year, full of travel and sending myself out into the unknown. The end result has been, me just wanting to stay home and make things. Here is my new infinity scarf named Flo. The warmest most comfortable scarf I own and my new obsession..

I created several new groupings this spring and they got snapped up fast. Now the website is stocked and heading into my favorite and final show of the year this weekend, Chicago Art Girls Elementary school 11-5. Its an all woman show with some truly amazing artists.

Easy parking, limited group of artists so easy to navigate and fabulous foods. What could be better?

From here on, I will be doing a few shows as well as releasing various collections throughout the year based either on a color, fabrics or a stunning trim. Time to play and use up all these fabulous things that I've been hoarding.

So stop by this weekend and choose to be warm this winter.

A few happy customers today at Lakeview Arts Festival, Chicago. You have one more day to catch me. It's on Broadway, N of Belmont, booth #85, Sunday Sept 14th, 11 - 7pm.

Set up on a hot summer weekend in Rogers Park, Chicago at the Glenwood Art Fair. Booth 22 on East Glenwood north of Morse. I'm on a shady tree lined street and happy to be out of the sun. Stop in and see what new at Strong Wear.

Sunday of the Morning Glory art fair in Milwaukee was canceled due to weather. Thanks to all who came and bought hats on a hot and humid day Saturday. I had a great time in Milwaukee and even got my Leon's fix!

Finished a hot day-one of Morning Glory art fair. The new hats were a big hit. The weather will be better on Sunday. I'm there from 10-5pm, booth 96. Come see what's new at Strong Wear.

I'm back doing a few shows close to home. Milwaukee this weekend and Chicago next.

Arrived in Cape Town and hung around the waterfront. Visited the Zeitz Modern art museum, carved out of a group of silos, such a cool structure. Here are the hats I saw today.

Started my final leg of my 7 continents in a year sabbatical. Headed to Cape Town, South Africa with a day to play in London. Here are some hats I saw.

Well, it's finally here, leaving tomorrow for Cape Town. My swim friend, Mara joined in at the last minute so it promises to be so much fun. Got a safari booked and now looking at a Sea Forest snorkel tour where they shot My Octopus Teacher on Netflix. It promises to be an amazing trip. First I have a daytime layover in London. I'll post hats that I see along the way.
