The Rooks are a 3 piece band based in the Dengie Peninsula of East Essex.They write and perform original music. Live, The Rooks are an exciting and raw act.
The Rooks are made up of three musicians from the Dengie in the countryside of East Essex. Ben Fisher (vocals, guitars) and Greg Sleebush (bass, vocals) have been playing in various bands since their teenage years. The line--up is completed by Alex Garside on drums. The Rooks share a passion for playing rootsy, soulful blues rock music by bands they have grown up listening to and who have inspired

If you want wristbands for Ashfest next Saturday I need to know my the end of tomorrow. It’s sold out but we have been told we can have a few more. 18 live acts, over two stages. Starts at 2pm, our set is at 8pm. Wristbands are free but Ashfest relies on donations so please be generous and donate when you get there. BYO booze, kids welcome.

So, we are sneaking a short set in tomorrow night for the Ashfest warm up party at Southminster Memorial Hall. Our set is around 7.45. With Lost in Broadway and then the brilliant River Rats. Doors open at 7. Tickets on the door £5
