Now featuring The Daughters Of Achelous. The shade’s design is influenced by the art of Albert Arthur Allen - the man who brought us ***ir photography - by using his photos and transforming them into . The end result is a modern homage to the three Greek Daughters of Achelous, Peisinoe, Aglaope, and Thelxiepeia also known as "The Sirens". The shade itself is made of silver mica and hand trimmed with brass and copper. The base is a hand-carved, stacked white marble column paired with solid brass trims sitting on a black marble base. This is Dooley Restred.

19th Century Mamluk Revival Brass Vase Lamp with Sawtooth Mica Shade featuring 1920s Japanese Matchbox Art
We are currently listing this 19th Century Mamluk Revival Brass Vase I've crafted into a lamp, with alternating 12-panel brass and copper framed amber mica sawtooth shade that features 1920s Japanese matchbox Cario art. The brass panels have a splatter patina art with hand-crated brass leaves at the top. This is a part of a unique new line of bases made by Dooley Restored that will have shades with Japanese matchbox art that can have a strong Art Deco, and sometimes Bauhaus look.

l created this custom lamp for my father’s 70th birthday using the football card of his father, Jim Dooley (my grandfather) the year he transferred from the University of Miami to the Chicago Bears in 1952, which was also the year my father was born.
