What an awesome memory from my 1996 ATL Olympic Experience.

'Ali really elevated himself for me when he did the torch thing at the Olympics in Atlanta. Just think. Most people in this country get a little sickness, especially if they've been noticed or are celebrities, and they hide. They won't come out. Someone has something like Parkinson's, they'll just stay in the house and hide. They'll say, 'I don't want them to see me like this.' This guy came up with that torch shaking and lighting that thing like that - I felt so proud of him. Muhammad Ali did a lot for the world when he did that. You'll never know how much he did for the people who generally hide themselves. That man did a lot. To see him do it and not be ashamed. To say, 'I am the greatest and still alive.' He deserves the feeling that people have for him.'

I will never forget the opening ceremony when the Greatest held the Olympic flame torch to lite the Olympic Torch..
One of the most moving, emotional and inspiring moments of my life..

We greatly appreciate the commitment of Brad Seymour, President of the Windy City Bulls and this partnership with the Illinois Media School, to produce high quality broadcasts for each home game. We also appreciate the dedication of our instruction team, who are themselves professionals in the industry. This team is led by Audio Engineer and Grammy Award Winner Darius Lawrence and Owner, Producer and Production Manager Joe DiGiacomo who head up this amazing collaboration. Our interns are graduating with exceptional hands-on training and are industry prepared for their career starts.

Illinois Media School has built a unique partnership with the Windy City Bulls, Chicago Bulls NBA G League Affiliate, that provides our students with real world, hands-on training in creating professional quality production for live stream, as our student interns cover all home games at NOW Arena.
Illinois Media School returns for our 7th season with the Windy City Bulls and our Sports Broadcasting and Audio Production students are ready to intern! Coached by our very talented instructors, who are themselves professionals in the industry and include award winning Audio Engineer Darius Lawrence and Executive Producer and CEO Joe DiGiacomo, our students are eager to learn and sharpen their production skills that will best prepare them for industry success. Broadcasts can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago where our students also have the privledge of working with Chicago Sports icon Mark Schanowski.
This season the broadcast production blessings continue at Illinois Media School. The 2022-23 NBA G League season has added NBA Greats; Chicago Bulls and Chicago Sport Analysts/ Sportscasters Will Purdue and Kendall Gill to our broadcast production team. This is going to be a most amazing season for all, and an awesome hands-on opportunity for these talented and ambitious students to learn from the pros to become pros!
