We are looking for 3-5 more volunteers to help pack bags on Tuesday, May 5 at 4:00 p.m. at the high school. If you have not had a chance to help and are available, please message us or respond to this post! Thank you in advance! 🥰

We are looking for a few volunteers to help us pack bags on the following dates:

*Update* Volunteers Covered-Wed, April 8
Tuesday, May 5

Come see our wreath we decorated outside of Campbell Memorial Park. Local businesses and organizations decorated trees and wreaths at the park. Wreaths and trees will be on display until just after Christmas.

Do you feel lucky? I have raffle tickets available to win a Lottery Board featuring Illinois Lottery Scratch-off Tickets, valued at nearly $500. Proceeds will benefit the Coal City Backpack Program. For local residents, I can arrange for delivery. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets via Venmo or Zelle at 773-259-3403. Tickets are priced at $5 each or $20 for a set of five.

Fall Fest is almost here!! 🍁🧡🍂 Here is a sneak peek of the Pampered Chef Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven that we are going to raffle off!! You are going to LOVE it!! 😍

We will be at Makers’ Court, the area north of the post office, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

We thought this would be a different, yet practical way to help raise funds for the children who are part of our program, and we hope we have your support. Thank you in advance and to those who have already placed orders. ❤️❤️

Here is is a little bit about what we do and why it is so important. We provide supplemental bags of healthy food items to children in need on a weekly basis throughout the school year. Children in pre-k to 12th grade may be a part of the program.

With hunger such a prevalent issue and concern, it is our mission to help as much as we possibly can within our community. We are also supported by the school district, so many volunteers and community members as well as businesses in the county. It truly takes a village, and we are so blessed and grateful for all of the support.

Last night we participated in the Coal City school district’s Family Wellness Night that was held at the high school. It was great to see so many attend this wonderful event! We appreciated the opportunity to increase awareness about our program and even find some new volunteers! ❤️
