I prayed to the stars and changed my cards, now I’m living life like I got 9 books and a possible.

We’re making it easy to find the deals!
It’s been 7 years or so since performing. I silenced myself. I hid from myself and grew fearful of the intimacy that occurs when sharing words in front of a crowd. Thanks to a friend inviting me to an open mic, () here I am, open, vulnerable and feeling at home. I’m thankful for the new community I’ve found in . You all have no idea how comfortable your loving energy made me. Here’s to many more moments but for now enjoy this oldie written circa 2014. 🫣

Cool law passed in Kentucky but can you please arrest and convict the three cops who shot Breonna Taylor eight times in her own home. Why haven't those men lost their jobs? How loud must we be for justice to be served? Why do we have to be loud in the first place?
