🍎 APPLE PUREE 4-WAYS 🍏
Did you know apples are fibre-packed superheroes? 🦸♀️ They come with two types of fibre: insoluble (the roughage) softens stools, while soluble (called pectin) feeds friendly baby bacteria, making digestion a breeze! 💪👶 Regular bowel movements, avoiding constipation or diarrhoea 🚼✨
For your little one’s safety, apples need to be cooked 🍽️ Raw, hard apples can be a choking hazard for tiny tots. Plus, cooking breaks down the food structure, aiding digestion 🍎🍲
HOW TO PUREE APPLE 🍎🌈
Peel, core and dice the apple and put into a pan with a little water (4-5 tsp for 2 apples). Cover and cook over a low heat for 6 to 7 minutes until tender. Puree with an electric stick blender or in a food processor.
