Happy Anniversary, Mimi Productions! It's our 30th Year!

Back in 2010-2012 we produced a TV series called, "The Merge OUTLOUD" hosted by Tower. The series featured Christian Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Emo, Crunk, Ska, Punk artists in studio interviews and their music videos. It ran for years on cable TV. We remastered it this winter taking it from SD to HD, (yes back then the lesser cable stations were in SD) to put on youtube. We had to take the music videos out so YouTube wouldn't flag the show for copyright violations as we only had the rights to use the videos on TV. These were really great conversations with these artists and Tower. Here is the entire playlist, all 19 episodes. Enjoy!

Yesterday we produced another successful Live Stream Broadcast. The international audience was able to watch their loved ones receive their law degrees from Chicago-Kent College of Law. We had viewers from the UK, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Jamaica, and many other countries. The live chat was definitely a tour of the world. If your organization needs a professional live show think of us!

20 years ago, this month, I left my job at NBC News to run Mimi Productions full time. It's been an amazing journey and I can't wait to see what the next 20 years have in store for us!

Unfortunately in January we had a flood at our office, a water heater from the floor above us leaked out 40 gallons of water. Thankfully this was only in the common area the damage was to the floor and walls. BUT it took out our awards shelves. I was devastated to find my Emmys smashed on the floor. Thank you to Chicago/Midwest Chapter: National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences/Midwest Chapter: National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for making it easy to order replacements!!!
