Here’s why mixing centerpiece heights can completely transform a reception:

When every table looks exactly the same, a large reception can start to feel repetitive. For Abeer & Abdul’s wedding, we mixed lush low arrangements with elevated florals to create dimension throughout the room.

Blush and ivory blooms, greenery, soft gold accents + candlelight tied everything together. Taller arrangements drew the eye up, while lower florals brought those romantic details closer to the table.

How do you make a statement without relying on just bold color?

For Abeer & Abdul’s wedding, it was all about layers, texture + warm light.

A soft neutral stage came to life with blush and ivory florals, lush greenery, gold architectural details and delicate strands of light. An ivory loveseat anchored the design, while florals & candlelight carried that romantic feel throughout the room.

The palette stayed soft, with touches of gold, blush, peach + greenery complementing the couple’s attire rather than competing with it.

From the stage to the reception tables and outdoor ceremony, every detail carried the same light, classic romance! 🤍

A Mehndi is your chance to have a little more fun with color.

For Abeer & Abdul’s Mehndi, we leaned into a vibrant, joyful palette that gave this celebration an identity all its own. Rich turquoise draping set the scene, while pops of orange, yellow and red, playful umbrellas, marigold-inspired details and ornate gold seating brought warmth and energy throughout the room.

One of our favorite parts of designing multi-event weddings is making sure each celebration feels distinct while still belonging to the couple’s larger story. This one was all about color, culture and celebration.

Never underestimate what candlelight can do to a room.

Some of our favorite details from Abby & Jerry’s wedding were also some of the simplest.

Tall, slender candles were layered at different heights throughout the reception, rising from lush greenery and soft florals with delicate gold accents tying everything together.

Rather than relying on one oversized statement at every table, the mix of candle heights created dimension, warmth, and a beautiful visual rhythm throughout the room. Even in daylight, those glowing details brought a softness to the modern space.

White. Gold. Greenery. A hint of blush. And plenty of candlelight. A combination we’ll never get tired of 🤍

Your wedding stage should feel like the heart of the room.

For Abby & Jerry, we created a statement stage rooted in romance: lush greenery, soft blush and white florals, warm gold accents, and layers of candlelight against an elegant ivory backdrop.

The asymmetrical floral structures added height and movement without overwhelming the space, while the cascading florals around the loveseat grounded the entire design.

And with those incredible chandeliers overhead? The room already had drama. Our job was to design with it.

The result was a stage that felt grand enough to command the room, yet soft and intimate enough to frame the couple beautifully.

Moody doesn’t have to mean dark. It’s all about the layers.

For this fall wedding, we started with a dramatic black foundation and built warmth into every layer of the room.

Lush burgundy, rust, peach, and blush florals softened the palette. Gold accents brought in warmth. Tall taper candles drew the eye upward, while smaller glowing votives made the tables feel intimate. And at the center of it all, an abundant floral arch filled with roses, greenery, winding branches, and hanging glass votives created an almost overgrown garden around the stage.

Even the contrast was intentional. The light seating against the black backdrop gave the stage room to breathe while letting those rich florals take center stage.

The result was dramatic without feeling heavy, romantic without feeling overly traditional, and warm enough to make the entire room glow.

When the couple looks like they were made for the room 🖤

We’re looking back at one of our favorite moody fall weddings, where every detail came together to create something dramatic, romantic, and completely transportive.

Against a black backdrop surrounded by an overgrown garden of burgundy, rust, blush, and deep green florals, the bride and groom fit into the scene effortlessly. Her richly embroidered bridal look, his black and gold attire, the warm candlelight, and all those layers of florals gave the portraits an almost cinematic quality.

It felt a little old Hollywood, a little enchanted garden, and entirely their own.

This is what we love about designing around a feeling. The décor doesn’t simply sit behind you. It becomes part of the story, the photographs, and the way you remember the room years later.

Here’s why your wedding color palette shouldn’t stop at the flowers. 🩵

One of the things we loved most about this past wedding was how the soft blue, blush, white, and greenery carried from the ceremony into the reception.

Powder blue linens became the foundation for the tablescape, while blush roses, blue hydrangeas, white florals, greenery, gold accents, and candlelight brought the entire palette together.

Even better, those same florals continued onto the reception stage, creating a cohesive look from one part of the celebration to the next without making every space feel exactly the same.

It’s a great example of one of our favorite design principles: repeat your palette, not your exact design.

Carry a few colors, textures, and floral elements throughout the day, then give each space its own moment.

Supriya & Jithu’s reception brought together romance, warmth, and elegance in a way that still feels timeless.

For the stage, cascading blush and white florals, lush greenery, and golden arches created a beautiful focal point for the celebration. Hanging lights and glowing candles added warmth and dimension, while the greenery backdrop gave the softer florals just the right amount of contrast.

The soft pinks brought the romance. The gold brought the elegance. And the lighting brought it all to life.
