Grief Moment of Truth 💕

To the many women I see on my timeline grieving I want to share this with you 🙏🏾

At 21, I lost my mom, right when I felt I needed her most. It was tough, wondering who would guide me through becoming a woman, making her absence feel even more profound. For a long time, I resisted letting other women step into that nurturing role. The idea of someone else seeing me as their daughter was unimaginable—I already had a mom; she just wasn’t here anymore.

Years passed before I recognized the gift of embracing these women as mother figures. For anyone navigating similar pain, I urge you not to isolate yourself like I did. We all deserve love, nurture, and support. There are women out there eager to offer that to you, to step in as a mother figure. Allowing this doesn’t diminish the place your mom holds; it’s about adding to your circle of care. Consider what your mom would have wanted for you. I hope sharing this brings some comfort 💕

💭ANYTHING is possible with God. Any time we doubt that, it’s because we just don’t have the faith and we don’t believe. We can get angry and try to check and challenge God’s faithfulness but we really just need to check our lack of faith and unbelief.
