This week, we took care of a small office build-out.

The goal was simple: get the infrastructure up and running without cutting corners.

We delivered 34 data drops pulled and terminated, rack installation and grounding, & 7 Access Points deployed for full coverage.

Additionally, we populated the rack and patched for a clean, functional finish.

Another successful Rack & Stack project completed for our partners at Control+V.

My Eye Doctor Network Upgrade | Chicagoland Rollout

As part of their recent acquisition, My Eye Doctor required a complete network and infrastructure overhaul. Reon Systems, in partnership with Cleco Ventures, is proud to have delivered this across 15 locations in the Chicagoland area as part of a major nationwide project.

Key Deliverables:

Full reconstruction of the network infrastructure.

Provisioned and installed all end-user devices.

Network is live, stress-tested, and running at peak capacity.

MDF Build-Out for MSCI Lenovo Chicago offices.

The firs few days of a rough-in are never easy,

60 cables in, conduit installed for the difficult runs where nothing else would work, and the foundation was set.

The Build,

Rack mounted. UPS and two 48-port switch installed. Then came the repetition that separates the pros from the amateurs: punching down 60 ports at the patch panel and getting the first Access Points live.

The Final Push,

Once the cubicles were in place, we moved to the finish line. Routed the remaining cable, terminated the user ends, and labeled every single inch.

To prove the job was done right before the permanent ISP even arrived, we deployed a Starlink setup to bring the building online. Verified the network with remote support, confirmed everything was green, and cleaned the site.

Site cleared. Network ready for the client to plug and play user-end devices.

For this retrofit project, we recommended a streamlined access control solution at the main entrance, integrating a strike with a dedicated intercom system.
