Follow an artistโs slow descent into madness. Again.
I just read a review that called Mortal Kombat II a Guardians Of The Galaxy rip-off.
..Fu***ng what?
This seems to come from the same place that called every first-person shooter in the mid-to-late 90's a "Doom clone". Sure, if you're pattern-matching scattered surface details, I could see how you'd come to that conclusion. But if you actually ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ณ๐๐ฐ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฒ, that would seem like a ridiculous thing to say.

I just saw Mortal Kombat II, and just like the video game, it's a vast improvement over the one that came before it.
Mortal Kombat ][ (2026): Potential Fulfilled [SPOILERS] :: HisVirusness Well, it's finally here. The second Mortal Kombat of the Cole Young saga has been released. And just like the video game of the same name, it's a major improvement over the first installment.

Itโs been a while since Iโve touched upon some heavy subject matter. But given the recent personal milestone, it seemed appropriate.
Featurecreepin' ][: Sobriety Work :: HisVirusness On the six month anniversary of the day I quit drinking, I marked the occasion by attending a meeting. It seemed appropriate, plus I wanted to get my coin. Getting the coin for six months was important to me; it signified that this was actually happening and that the subsequent ongoing attempt was r...

If you've been keeping up with the site, you'd know I'm going through a bit of a trying time. This last month especially stings because I don't have enough to cover its hosting costs. It's not even like they're astronomical; they're actually in the single-digits, I just can't make it happen.
If you enjoy my work, and you got some cash left, please consider hitting up the Ko-Fi. I'd appreciate it, and thank you for staying tuned for more bu****it.

It's the end of the week, so I'm reflecting on my return to Fiverr and the modern job market in general.
Taking Another Look At Fiverr :: HisVirusness I ended 2025 on a hopeful note, mentioning seasonal work that could hopefully be turned into something more permanent. Sadly, it ended up being very temporary after all. As such, I'm back on the market for employment. I'm also trying to branch out, so I'm back on Fiverr.

This was inspired by the stream earlier. And, I've actually wanted to write about this subject anyway.

The Internet Is Dead... But Is It Really, Though? :: HisVirusness With the proliferation of automated content mills and sanitized, performative behavior online, you see this phrase a lot: "The internet is dead now; it's not the same as it used to be." And I don't agree, especially given that "the internet being dead now" is not a new idea.

It's 2026, and the headphone jack is NOT obsolete!
An Argument For Wired Headphones In 2026 :: HisVirusness At the beginning of 2025, I needed to buy new headphones since the pair I had for almost seven years stopped working on one side. I was a bit strapped for cash, so I found a pair on clearance. After about eight months of use, they stopped working on one side, kinda proving why they were on clearance...
