I'm still here!!

I start a new job on Tuesday 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Hopefully it'll lead to bigger, better things.

And ofc. more writing.

Since I don't have my own space to permanently set up *just* for writing, at the moment, it's become incredibly important that I create a space that gets me in a writing mindset. The two big features are
1: My Lap-desk and
2: My notebooks

Lapdesk is obvious. It's where writing happens!

My notebooks being in my line of sight *specifically* is hugely important. They keep me motivated, a reminder that I write (first and foremost) because it's who I am. Rarely do I share their contents.

But I *stay* writing.

I used to think drinking improved my writing. Now I know it just made me care less abt the quality of my work. I still drink sometimes- but not as a creative tool.

Now I write instead of drinking.

AAAHHHH one of my favorite bands just released a new album!!!

If you're a fan of gloom or funeral metal, I *highly* recommend Bell Witch! Their album "Stygian Bough" is so deeply emotional, and this one is absolutely heart wrenching. I've got new writing music 😍😍😎😎😎
