The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is offering free memberships to Chicago teens from June 8 through the end of August 2026, so they can stay active, healthy, and connected through the organization’s Get Summer program.

That’s a wrap!

WITS has just concluded another fantastic year of reading with CPS students. Last week, every WITS student was sent home with their own set of books for the summer. This is all thanks to your support 💕

Summer is finally in full swing, and you know what that means: time for ice cream 🍦

What an amazing night we had at the WITS Book Bash! It was wonderful to see so many passionate individuals come together to celebrate and contribute to keeping WITS programming free for Chicago Public Schools’ students and teachers.

Tonight is the big night!

At WITS, we have just wrapped up our program year, said goodbye to all our students and mentors for the summer, and sent all our students home with culturally relevant books of their own to add to their home libraries.
