🧠 Mental Health Tip: Challenge Negative Thoughts

Negative self-talk can feel automatic, but that doesn't mean it's true. The way we talk to ourselves matters.

✨ Try this simple mindset shift:

• Notice the negative thought.
• Ask yourself: "Is this fact or feeling?"
• Challenge the thought with evidence.
• Reframe it with a more balanced perspective.
• Speak to yourself the way you would a friend.
• Replace criticism with compassion.
• Practice constructive affirmations daily.

💚 Instead of:
❌ "I always mess things up."

Try:
✅ "I'm learning, growing, and doing the best I can."
Remember: You don't have to believe every thought that crosses your mind. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is challenge it.

Becoming Mentally Shredded Part I | Podcast Episode on RSS.com 05/28/2026

Mental Health Awareness Month isn’t just about statistics or hashtags. It’s about real conversations. Real struggles. Real people trying to navigate life the best they can.

One of the ways we continue that conversation at CTSHealth is through our Healthy Head Talk podcast — where we discuss mental health, wellness, parenting, stress, trauma, healing, and the realities people face every day.

This month, we’re revisiting one of our past episodes because the message still matters. 💚

Whether you’re struggling yourself, supporting someone else, or simply trying to understand mental health better — we hope these conversations remind you that you are not alone.

Green may be the color of Mental Health Awareness Month, but awareness is more than a color, a shirt, or a month on the calendar. 💚

At CTSHealth, we believe in continuing the conversation, reducing stigma, supporting one another, and creating spaces where people feel seen and heard — every day of the year.

Thank you to our team for showing up, wearing green, and helping us remind others that mental health matters.

💚 Wear Green for Awareness 💚

Today we’re wearing green to show support, spark conversations, and remind others that mental health matters. A simple act can be a powerful reminder that no one has to face challenges alone.

Join Cooper and CTSHealth in spreading awareness, encouraging hope, and supporting one another — because every conversation can make a difference.

This week, our foster care team had the opportunity to join Charlotte Today to talk about something that changes lives every single day: Foster Care. 💙

May is Foster Care Awareness Month, and while the statistics matter, the heart behind this work matters even more. Right now, there are children in our communities who need safe, supportive, and compassionate homes - not perfection, just people willing to show up, care deeply, and provide stability during difficult seasons.

At CTSHealth, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued. Foster families play an incredible role in helping make that possible.

Whether you’ve considered fostering before or are simply curious about the process, this month is a reminder that one caring adult can truly change a child’s life.

Thank you to the team for representing this mission so well and helping to raise awareness of the need for foster families in our community. 💙

💚 Cooper’s Weekly Mental Health Tip 💚

May is Mental Health Awareness Month - a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health.

This week’s tip: Check in with yourself honestly.
Not every struggle looks obvious, and not every healing journey is loud. Sometimes caring for your mental health looks like:

🚫Taking a break without guilt
👩‍❤️‍👩Talking to someone you trust
⭐️Setting boundaries
🌿Getting outside for fresh air
🤝Scheduling therapy or support
🛀Drinking water, resting, and slowing down
😵‍💫Admitting you’re overwhelmed
🎉Celebrating small wins
🛌You do not have to “earn” rest.
😵You do not have to wait until burnout to ask for help.

Mental health matters every month — but this month, let’s help break stigma through conversation, compassion, and support. 💚

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Not everything shows up as “anxiety” or “depression.”
Sometimes it looks like burnout. Overwhelm. Disconnection.
If this feels familiar, it’s worth paying attention to.

💬 Which one hit you the most?
🧠 Support exists—and it starts with a conversation.

May is more than a campaign — it’s a reminder that mental health deserves attention in every space we live in. 💚

As the National Digital Content Manager and Healthy Head Talk podcast host at CTSHealth, Candice Case spends a lot of time helping create conversations around mental health awareness, education, and support. Awareness also looks like taking care of ourselves offline too.

Movement. Fresh air. Rest. Community. Boundaries. Checking in with ourselves honestly.

Mental health isn’t separate from our everyday lives — it’s part of how we work, move, connect, and show up for others.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, CTSHealth is showing its green and encouraging you to do the same. 💚 Wear green, snap a photo, and tag CTSHealth or send us your pictures so we can help spread awareness and remind others they are not alone.

Some things don’t look heavy, but they are.

Stress. Anxiety. Burnout. Grief.

It adds up quietly.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminding you:
You don’t have to hold it all in. Starting the conversation might feel hard, but it’s also where healing begins.

🤍 If today feels like a lot, take one small step. Reach out. Talk to someone. Let someone in.

05/04/2026

Let’s clear something up—mental health isn’t just about crisis.

Mental health is part of your everyday life—how you think, feel, cope, and function. And just like physical health, it deserves attention before something feels wrong.

This month is Mental Health Awareness Month and
we’re talking about it more. Because understanding is the first step to support.

💬 Save this as your reminder.
📲 Share with someone who needs it.
🧠 You don’t have to do this alone. We’re here when you’re ready.
