Ending Period Poverty, One Girl at a Time. 💜
At Awom Na Ebo Secondary Technical School, Umuahia, Abia State, Rector Cares Foundation provided free sanitary pads and menstrual health education to support and empower young girls.
In Nigeria, 37 million girls and women cannot afford sanitary pads, causing many to miss school every month. Together, we can change that by ensuring every girl has access to menstrual products, education, and dignity.
Every pad donated is a step toward keeping girls in school and ending period poverty.

Periods are not a choice, so menstrual products shouldn’t be a luxury.
With rising living costs and inflation, millions of girls are being forced to choose between their health, dignity, and basic necessities.
In Nigeria, over 37 million women and girls lack reliable access to sanitary products. Together, we must keep pushing for free menstrual access and end period poverty once and for all.
Every girl deserves the confidence, education, and support to thrive. 💛
Thank you to Kika and our incredible volunteers for helping us make a difference at Government Secondary School, Abuja. 🙌
Periods don’t stop dreams—period poverty does. Let’s change that.
