It’s a new year.
Yes, we are still here.
With a new year, we have new goals and some changes.
Our staff is finding more ways in how we can help our community and others with a fresh start in trainings.

As long as we continue to remember…we will not forget!

Today is world su***de prevention day. Each day in our nation, there are an average of over 3,703 attempts by young people grades 9-12.
If your teen is struggling with dark thoughts, here are 5 encouragements you can share to remind them they are not alone:
1. You’re not alone—I’m here. Connection and love are powerful lifelines.
2. Tell me how you’re feeling when you’re ready. Talking about su***de doesn’t create the idea—it opens the door to healing.
3. You matter to me and to others. Remind them of their worth and belonging.
4. We’re in this together—let’s find support. Counseling and mentors can help carry the weight.
5. Let’s make a plan for safety. Ask honest questions and walk through next steps together.
Parents—your steady presence, listening ear, and compassionate words can make all the difference. Don’t underestimate the power of being there and present with your children.
If you or your teen are in immediate danger, call 911. For the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, dial 988 for free and confidential help.

Our group is currently rereading a book that we use as a guide. The Bible is clearly the first, we use in anything, however, sometimes you need some other help and tips.
The book, “Hope Always,” by Matthew Sleeth mentioned something that I find quite concerning.
“And as the current rate of su***de increases in our overall population, it will increase in Christians as well-but at a reduced rate from the general population.”
What do I find concerning? That Christians will increase in this area of su***de.
