We opened our ⭐️beautiful⭐️store, Brook Isle, in February 2026. This large 2,400 square foot unit sat empty for nearly 3 years. A cement box. We negotiated for many months after two other tenants fell through. We are grateful for this creative opportunity. We just love our community. The going is that our wholesale operation is run in the back office and it’s far better than being in a creepy warehouse!

First you start a business, maybe a side hustle. If you keep at it, it grows. Fumbles happen but you keep going. There are a lot of ideas. Some of them are a little stupid and a waste of money but you do it anyway.🤪🫠The most important things are to keep working hard and to have fun.

2025: Quit the FT Corporate job
2026: Opened Brook Isle flagship store!

Before and ✨After✨…

There was a point when we wondered if we would ever be able to open our new home decor store in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, called Brook Isle. The original open date was supposed to be either October 5 or November 1……in 2025. But we opened MONTHS later on February 20, 2026. We naively had Christmas fully planned🎄and had to pack it away. Then we had to pack up Valentine’s 💕 items too. It was a lot of extra work (in terms of products) but we knew we held none of the power.

The wait and the delay only made the grand opening all the more sweeter. Today we feel so grateful for our customers and the community. We take all the feedback we hear very seriously, especially the compliments!!

This clip from the Goodfellas movie (based on a true story!) has been used effectively only a handful of times on Instagram, but it really makes me laugh.😆🤭We are a cast of characters, yes, but we work very hard to bring you an awesome shopping experience. And for the record, Leah is quite trim💪, and Donna has a lovely nose👃.
