Last night I had the opportunity to attend an informative event hosted by Primrose School at Edinburgh Commons in Chesapeake, and I walked away impressed!

As a Real Estate Agent, one of the questions I hear often from families moving to Hampton Roads is, “What are the childcare and preschool options in the area?” It was great to learn more about this local school and the resources they offer families.

Located on Carmichael Way in the Edinburgh area of Chesapeake, Primrose provides early education and care programs for children from infancy through Pre-K and Kindergarten readiness, along with before and after-school options. Their Balanced Learning® approach combines purposeful play, character development, and academic preparation to help children build a strong foundation for future success. 

What stood out most to me was their commitment to partnering with parents, creating a nurturing environment, and helping children develop not only academically but socially and emotionally as well. The passion of the owners, Claudia Macon and Tonya Gill, and their team was evident throughout the evening.
