While working on your wedding dress, I found myself drifting back to mine. I can still see it so clearly, the moment I first spotted it in a magazine. Something in me just knew. That quiet, undeniable feeling… that’s my dress.

The lace up corset back, the two piece silhouette, the black floral detail woven through it, it didn’t just feel beautiful. It felt like me. Every piece of it.

And I knew it might stir things up. Black wasn’t what a bride was supposed to wear. It wasn’t traditional or expected. But I also knew I wasn’t walking down that aisle to meet tradition. I was walking toward my person. And I wanted to do that feeling completely myself. Honest. Confident. Unapologetic.

That dress held all of it, the boldness, the softness, the parts of me I was still learning to stand in. And somehow it carried me into one of the most important moments of my life.
