In Mrs Compton’s Genius Hour students had to pick someone who inspires them, dress like them and give a memorized speech! They rocked it!

Good luck to our two middle school teams as they compete at World Robotics the next two days in Dallas.

Student Council elections today. So proud of those who gave great speeches in front of their peers. Also proud of the students in the audience for paying attention and being respectful.

Today is a home track meet and it begins at 2pm. Throw far; jump high and far; run fast! Go Cardinals!!!

8th grade also getting the learning done. ELA has them working on their career projects which will be presented to 2nd graders. Math is working on math facts with a”snakes and ladders” competition.

Our teachers and students can’t be confined to a classroom when great learning is happening. 7th graders are learning how to do research, take notes and organize sources. 6th grade science is learning about probability using a plastic spoon catapult and measuring distance. 6th grade ELA is increasing their vocabulary with acostic puzzles.

Some of our track athletes are headed to Andale today for a meet which starts at 1pm. Go Cardinals!!!
