I had a great show in Denver at Cherry Creek. Thank you for everyone that came out and supported all the great artists. I got home Tuesday night, and finally was able to put my new glory hole in the studio. This will allow me to make much larger work. To say I’m excited would be an understatement.

The July birthstone ornament has arrived. The Ruby symbolizes passion and vitality. Ouch 🔥 one reason I started making these special ornaments is because as we get older it’s harder and harder to shop for some people. That’s me for sure. Growing up in West Georgia, I spent summers surrounded by my grandmother’s hydrangeas — those huge, bold blooms that seemed almost magical.
These giant blooms created memories, and a splash of color that stayed with me.
When I started designing my style of working, I knew I had to capture that drama and beauty — to bring those blossoms to life, but in a whole new way.
This vase is my tribute to those purple moments, where nature meets fire, and memory becomes art💜🌸🔥
