Shatteredlinez
I paint. I create mixed media. I occasionally write. I take photographs. I am an artist.
Trying to get inspired... again.
Haven’t been much into painting lately but I can relate to this feeling.

I know this feeling well. The key is finishing before you hit the marker that says "Nope, you've gone too far". lol
How often do you feel like this? 🎨🤔

Did a lil painting tonight. Realized... it has been a long time since I painted, I am out of skin tone paint and I shouldn’t have taken a nap earlier or I would be sleeping. The result of that is this girl... Perfectly Imperfect.
Just taking a moment to give a shout out to my followers! Haven't been painting lately, but need to get back to it.

If there is one thing that being all up in my feelings does for me, it is give me inspiration and motivation to put paint on canvas. First time in a long time I started my day painting. Got the base layers down on canvas. I don't paint people often enough, so the painting of the skin tone always causes some fun challenges.
Won't have a picture to post for awhile, but the working title is "Who you are, when all you have left is the dark" or "Who you are".
I currently have 2 paintings up on Etsy...

Going to be selling some of my paintings and mixed media pieces at a sale in Bloomington, MN this weekend. You can see more of my work at www.shatteredlinez.com. Any local Minnesota people can message for the address. Besides work from me, my mother will also be selling watercolor paintings. You can see her work at www.crazypaintinglady.com.
I will post pictures of paintings available, along with prices if anyone wanted to make an offer to buy a piece. If it required shipping it would end up being cost of painting plus shipping/handling costs. And payment would be required, before shipment, via Paypal.
