This is Scott Mills. He is currently a volunteer with us! Thank you Scott for the many hours you dedicate.

How long have you been in EMS and how long at chase city? Close to 2 years. 8 months at Chase City

Interesting fact or hobbies? Interesting fact-I’m an Eagle Scout Bronze Palm, meaning that I am an Eagle Scout with an additional honor by receiving more merit badges than the required 21 for Eagle and staying active in my troop for 3 months after receiving the rank of Eagle.

Hobbies include fishing, hunting, watching the weather, gardening, and volunteering.

Family? Not married but I do have 2 spoiled nephews.

Why do you enjoy working or volunteering at chase city? Meeting new people to work with and giving care to those who need it.
May is mental health awareness month. YOU matter. You are enough.

This weeks provider is Amanda. She is a full time provider with us! Thank you Amanda!

I’ve been in EMS for for 8 years and at Chase City for going on a year. I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends. My husband and I have 3 wonderful daughters 7, 14 and 18 so there is never a dull moment in our house. I enjoy working at Chase City Rescue bc of all the wonderful members of the community I have had the pleasure of meeting or serving and all the great friendships I have formed with coworkers and other public servants in the area. An interesting fact about me is I am obsessed with the color red to the extent that we named our youngest daughter Scarlett! 🤣
Carl Potts is a part time employee with us. Carl has been in EMS for 13 years, almost 2 years Chase city part time. Carl enjoys family time. Hobbies include wood working creating things from wood. Yard work and gardening. Interesting fact - always dreamed of being in EMS as a kid, was my dream job, but got involved in Construction and being half owner of a multi million dollar business, which I walk away from to follow my dream in EMS.

Thank you Carl!
This is Kasey Morris. She’s a full time provider with us. She’s been in EMS for 10 years & a year in chase city in June. An interesting fact about Kasey. “I played softball until I was in a car wreck in 2016. And I love to fish (we fish for catfish), I have pink rods and reels. I have my granddaddy, parents, brother and a few friends who are basically unbiological. I was also blessed with two other families who have taken me in like their own.” Kasey was asked why she loves working at chase city and her response was “I love it here because I feel at home. I instantly clicked with everyone here and I knew I had made the right choice. (Plus our boss is pretty great)”

Thank you Kasey for your hard work!
We at Chase City Rescue are so thankful for our 911 dispatchers. Those that are rarely seen, but mostly heard; the calm voice in dark night. They are the golden glue that holds it all together. ❤️

I’m from Chase City. I’ve been in EMS and at Chase City for 4 years. In my spare time I enjoy baking and cooking, hanging out with family and friends. I enjoy volunteering at chase city because I have the opportunity to help people in my community, seeing a familiar face can always be helpful.

On behalf of our volunteers, we would like to thank you all for supporting their successful Krispy Kreme Doughnuts fundraiser, we could not thank our community enough!
We are sad to announce the unexpected and untimely death of Lifetime Member Marvin Tucker. Marvin exemplified community service and volunteerism by giving back his time to help all those in need. He was a gentle giant who will be missed and remembered by all those he served alongside. Please keep the Tucker family in your prayers. Rest easy brother, we will take it from here.

Due to visitor restrictions at local hospitals, family and friends of patients will no longer be able to ride along. The only exemption to this is if the patient is a minor under the age of 18. In this case, one parent or legal guardian is permitted to ride along. Thank you for your understanding of this matter.
