Team HOWS 05/23/26 met the rainy day with the typical motivated and compassionate “let’s do this” attitude 😙😇🐶

🙂🐾 Will McAnany, Gaby Ford, Mark Mehlin, Melanie Kelley Moreland, and Stacey Norris loaded the HOWS vehicles; and Gaby, Mark, Melanie, and Stacey ventured out to welcome 3 new pups and their families into our HOWS family.

🩵 Blue — a handsome 4 year old blue tick, ❤️ Shark — a 2 year old shepherd / pittie, and 🩷 Sadie — a 5 year old border collie mix, each received a much needed HOWS house with fluffy pine bedding.

Blue and Shark, confined to pens, also received shade tarps for days when it’s not so cloudy. ☀️😉 Sadie free-roams on a farm, so has barn options if she so chooses. 😉

We distributed other supplies like no-tip water buckets and flea/tick preventative.

Blue will soon be neutered through HOWS! 🩺 He is used to being inside at night, so recovery should be easier as he already has “inside space”. 🙌

Shark (who misses her duck and chicken friends on the other side of her pen) is going to receive a larger enclosure — courtesy of HOWS — closer to her person’s dwelling and in view of her feathered friends)! 🙌

What HOWS does for those in need in our community is made possible by YOU, our beloved supporters! We are grateful every day for your help!
People helping people help their dogs 🐕☮️💟
