Today was Jeff’s birthday and we celebrated a bit early in the day with donuts.

Jeff’s birthday was today and we celebrated midmorning with donuts. Claire has prom and Marissa is painting her room among other teenage things. Emily loved hanging out with everyone.

It's wonderful to be back in SW Florida. Marco Island is my favorite place to spend the winter, and the beach at Marco is sensational. Here's one of my favorite portraits taken recently on a bluebird morning at South Beach. The Island hooks around so we can shoot with the skyline in the background. And as a male, I have a special affinity for photographing beautiful women!

Marco Island is an amazing venue for portrait photography. This is a photograph of some of my favorite subjects, and I can assure you there are no "phony smiles" here. We had this family playing in the sand, splashing through the surf, and laughing. They had fun, and so did I! I'll be back on the Island on December 15th, and I am counting the days before we return to this little slice of paradise. The beach is guaranteed to make you smile!

Lighting check with my beautiful wife, Gail. Florida sunshine and pretty subjects — what's not to like? We will begin booking for the Christmas season later this summer. Looking forward to photo fun on the Marco Island beach!
