TheFBSiM LLC (also known simply as the_FBSiM or thefbsim.com) is a company that specializes in manufacturing and selling custom-crafted flight simulator products, specifically for the TBM9xx aircraft model. Key details include:
Products: They offer custom hardware, such as the TBM9xx SLPC throttle (lever quadrant) for use with flight simulation software like X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator

The upgrades keep moving along
Man this is going to be cool

Fun with large format extruded plastic 🥳🤘
V1 proof of concept looks good, V2 with revisions kicked off. They average about 60-ish hours of printing ~not bad.

The overhauled design/high-IQ generation of fBsTBMTQs are coming along — quick renders of the AutoThrottle-equipped 940 and 960 variants.
Fresh top shell and enclosures are closer than ever to the TBM cockpit. Plug, install, and play with the FS24 Asobo 930.

...theFBSiM’s feedforward autothrottle isn’t just a PID loop — it’s a complete control architecture modeled after real turboprop flight operations. Our equilibrium lookup table is calibrated from actual TBM 940 flight ops data (Daher published specifications plus in-sim observations), so when you dial a target speed, the system knows immediately where the throttle lever needs to sit. A small PID trim keeps you honest with the wind, fuel burn, and turbulence — exactly the role PID should play. The result: 45-second captures on 20-knot target changes, ±1 knot steady-state accuracy, and zero oscillation. Pilots pre-arm a cruise target before takeoff, and it’s honored at level-off. Switch between MAN and FLC modes, and each remembers its own target. Press the approach, and the system quietly drops out of climb mode for you. Dial above 250 and throttle firewalls; monitor engine ITT to stay just below redline. Every state change comes with an audible voice callout so you always know what the system is doing — even when your eyes are outside the cockpit. It’s not a sim hack—it’s real aerospace control theory, applied the right way in a home cockpit.

First, I think I'll print a new shop 😁~!

There we go, proper turboprop--the TBM930 just doesn't cooperate, but the default NGX..does nicely,

Freshly chopped, ready for the pit.. 😆 Now, where did I put my virtual cinderblocks?🤔

I created (with some ClaudeAI kungfu) a Wideview network app alternative for FS'24! I was tired of fighting low network throughput from the master system over the standard TCP/IP stack. This app uses UDP multicast instead, where a dead-reckoning prediction engine interpolates between packets at the render frame rate and writes the predicted camera position to MSFS. It has changed my entire sim experience!
There are two versions: a sim-connect-based version (phase1) that worked well, and phase2 uses a WASM gauge and significantly increases packets per second with zero drops.
The video shows both versions side by side over the test route.
Check out some NYC GPU torture testing from FS'24, Ultra settings.
