Seven down.. five to go!
Some of the babies have gone through their first shed and wow, do they look good already.
You can already see the potential for all the spots and color that make the Hog Island Boa such a beautiful local of boa constrictor. Even after just the first shed, these are stunners!

One of my new favorite plants!
Neoregrlia lilliputians or the Micro Bromeliad is a great epiphytic addition to a vivarium without the concern of it taking over and punching its way out the top.
Working on making a few mother plants to collect pups, we are not there yet.. but we are working on it. Pictured is a mature plant producing pups which we have removed to grow.

Another first for us here at A Shore Thing Exotics!
First time hatching Sphaerodactylus notatus, the Reef Gecko. A true micro gecko. This species maxes out at about 2.5”.
This is the only species of Sphaerodactylus that is found in the United States and is now protected in their state of Florida.
Our adults were purchased from Herptime last year and why further captive breeding is so important.

Sphaerodactylus macrolepis are.. well, they are always small. But these babies have gotten some size on them.
Another cool species of micro gecko that we do see more than you would think during the day. And who doesn’t love the eye spots between the shoulders.

Phyllobates terribilis’Mints’ are still working hard and making more.. and a good amount are coloring up.
Such a fun, bold species that makes a great display dart frog.
